This installment of The Qumran Report – Homeless Veterans, Prison Reform and a Tribute to Sunji Ali – in studio guests on the hour long sojourn included Jeff Norman, Executive Director of The Veterans Project, discussing his involvement in the community to better meet the need of the veterans that make up a very large part of the homeless population of Los Angeles.



Episode 4 – Voices from the Aether

This installment of The Qumran Report – Voices from the Aether – began with a spoken word recording put to music by the late Sunji Ali performing ‘Jazzin Round’.

Studio guests on the hour long sojourn included Spoken Word Artist Twin, Guitarist, Jack Rivera, Comedian Ms. C.C. and Actor Franchie Joy. A rare recording of Frontline Poet, Dadisi Henry X performing was also played during the hour long program.

This week we will be talking about Mental Illness and the Homeless with Mari-Louise Harrison and a in-studio performance of speeches of Marcus Garvey by Mr. Lee Shaw. Also veteran stage and screen actor David McKnight will read a portion of Dr Martin Luther King’s Letter from a Birminham jail.
